Hi
Used a newly aquired Steyr today.
A few little niggles but went well concidering I was the one pulling the
trigger, BUT!
Scope is right at one end of travel on the height.
They're quick release mounts so don't see how I can shim them.
Is it OK to shim the scope rings and if so what should I use or should I
leave it to an expert?
Cheers BB

The usual remedy is to put a piece of 35mm negative film between the
mount and the scope at the offending end.
It isnt a perfect solution, though it usually works. To fix it properly,
you'll need to find why the scope isnt aligned parrallel to the barrel.
